upper hutt real estate

Hi folks,

As these are my last musings for 2014, I will keep it short. As regular readers know I read as much information as I can regarding the Upper Hutt property market and disseminate between the national and local information supplied. As such you will be aware it’s been a hard year in real estate terms in Upper Hutt so I would like to congratulations to those that have sold and very best wishes for those trying to sell.

To those people I’ve worked with and for this year, many thanks for your patience and thank you for trusting me with the sale of what is generally considered peoples largest asset in this trying market.

I’m confident that real estate wise 2015 will be considerably better, especially with the removal of the Loan Value Restrictions.

They have hampered first time buyers but not a very large overseas market. It seems odd to me that we restrict first time buyers but not overseas investors, I guess in some universes that makes sense but certainly not in mine!

I would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a brilliant New Year and thanks to all those that read this, I get some very positive feedback which is always humbling and it keeps me going when I’m sitting at my PC wondering what I’m going to say that isn’t going to bore you!
