I don’t get to skite often, that’s because I know I will get shot down pretty quickly! (and not just from my wife) However on this occasion can I please give myself a little self-congratulatory pat on the back after agreeing 11 sales in a 12 day period (9 from 9 at one point).

In 20 years of real estate in 2 countries I have never known a fortnight like it! Of course you would think I would be high fiving myself constantly but instead my stress levels have increased as the sales now have to be managed across the finishing line and in this market, that’s not as easy as it sounds!

As I’ve previously commented, we are tracking considerably better than last year and the recent changes to the interest rate combined with the kiwistarter changes that came in on April 1^st are undoubtedly playing a part and this combined with a shortage of listings has led to slight price increases in our local market.
